Avalanche Rescue – Hosted by Alaska Avalanche School
Sharpen your emergency response skills with the Avalanche Rescue course, hosted by the Alaska Avalanche School on December 6, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Hatcher Pass. This one-day, field-based course is ideal for anyone recreating in avalanche terrain and is a required refresher for those continuing their avalanche education. Participants will practice companion rescue, beacon use, strategic shoveling, and scenario-based drills in a realistic mountain setting.
