Continuing avalanche rescue education in Revelstoke through the Canadian Avalanche Association’s AvSAR Level 1 training alongside Soul Rides — bringing meaningful rescue knowledge, resources, and backcountry education back home to Alaska through Alaska Safe Riders and The Sierra Winter Way.

About the event
The Sierra Winter Way will be in Revelstoke participating in the Canadian Avalanche Association’s Avalanche Search and Rescue Level 1 (AvSAR) training alongside Soul Rides. This course focuses on foundational avalanche rescue concepts, emergency response techniques, and team-based search strategies for first responders in avalanche terrain. My goal is to continue building meaningful education, rescue knowledge, and backcountry resources that can be brought back home to Alaska through Alaska Safe Riders and The Sierra Winter Way.
