Andrew (Andy) Doughty || 2026-2027 KREU Ambassador

Andrew Doughty is a passionate backcountry rider, avalanche educator, and community builder who believes the best adventures are the ones shared with others. Based in Fairbanks, Alaska, Andrew spends much of his time helping riders safely access and enjoy the backcountry while creating opportunities for newcomers to build confidence, skills, and meaningful connections within the riding community.

What makes Andrew a natural fit for The Sierra Winter Way is his dedication to mentorship and education. Whether he's two-upping a first-time rider into the mountains, towing a friend into a new zone, teaching avalanche courses, or sharing conditions and safety information online, his focus remains the same: helping others make informed decisions and creating a positive culture in the outdoors.

As a KREU Ambassador, Andrew brings leadership, experience, and a genuine commitment to growing Alaska's powersports community the right way. He believes that strong communities are built through education, encouragement, and shared experiences, and he is proud to support the culture shift that The Sierra Winter Way and Alaska Safe Riders continue to promote throughout the state.
