This home is my very first Airbnb, and its story is deeply rooted in Talkeetna. The original cabin came from Chase, Alaska, and was brought into town by The Alaska Railroad before being moved to its current location. Over time, my dad, brother, ex-husband, and close friends helped build the second floor, transforming the structure into the cozy two-story getaway it is today. This rental not only represents years of family effort and community support—it also helps employ friends and family who keep it running with care.
